Dr. ROBERT RICHES (c.1860 - 1918)
Robert (Richard) Riches was an Australian physician and amateur painter based in Mosman. He was known for his delicate landscape paintings of Sydney Harbour and Sydney’s North Shore. This painting depicts Little Sirius Cove in Mosman, which was a renown artist colony for Heidelberg School artists such as Arthur Streeton, and Tom Roberts.
