ANTHONY GALBRAITH (1951 - 1996)
Anthony Galbraith was a respected, award-winning Melbourne 'colonial cubist'. This work was Inspired by the St. Ives School in England, Galbraith produced less than 100 compositions in his short lifetime, two of which were purchased by the AGNSW, and is also represented at the NGV and other important institutions in Australia and abroad. So RARE is this piece, only 3 other works have appeared on the secondary market in 30 years, this work more than twice the size of his usual dimensions.
