MAURICE BARLE (1903 - 1961)

 

Maurice Barle was a prolific and well known French street painter. He was best known for his Impressionist paintings of Paris landmarks, including Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower & the Moulin Rouge. His career spanned the 1930s to the 1960s. His work was inspired by Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley, & Camille Pissarro.
