FREDERICK NOLTE (1925 - 2010)

Frederick Conrod Nolte RAS was a respected Australian landscape painter.. A country boy with German parents, as part of the 'Tumut Group', Nolte was known for his traditional, yet modern, interpretations of the Australian landscape, especially in country New South Wales where he was raised. Some of his mid-century landscapes were exhibited at the Royal Art Society.
