ALFRED EDWARD (ERNEST) WARNER (1879 - 1968)
Ernest Warner was a prolific and pioneering Australian etcher, who was known for his depictions of Australian country and city life in the early 20th century. He ran his own commercial studio in London before travelling to Australia with his inlaws in 1911. His works appear in most National Galleries and significant private collections.
